A professional headshot is one of the few photos of you that gets looked at by strangers actively making a decision: hire you, call you back, trust you, connect with you, often before they’ve heard your voice or read a single word about you.

It’s doing a job most photos never have to do. A vacation photo just has to look nice. A family photo just has to capture a moment. A headshot has to do something harder: make a stranger feel confident enough in you, in the span of a glance, to take the next step, click through to your profile, return your call, choose you over the next name on the list.
